Manchester has a growing and very active Nepali community! Here's what I know:
Regular events: - Nepal Association of Manchester (NAM) holds monthly community meetings — search for them on Facebook - Dashain and Tihar celebrations in October/November are major community events with hundreds attending - Nepali New Year celebrations in April are growing every year
Online: - There's a Manchester Nepali Community Facebook group with several thousand members — great for staying connected - The NBD Events section now has a Manchester filter which is useful
Tip: The Gurkha veterans' organisations in Manchester are very welcoming and a great way to meet established community members, even if you're not from a military family.
