Tamu Dhee UK has officially handed over £54,171.47 (NPR 1,11,11,111) to Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, following a fundraising campaign to support communities affected by the recent floods.
A Community Coming Together for Nepal
The fundraising campaign brought together individuals, organisations, donors and members of the Nepali community across the UK, all united by a common goal — to support people in Nepal during a difficult time.
Through the generosity of supporters, Tamu Dhee UK was able to raise a significant amount for the relief fund. The contribution highlights the continued connection between the Nepali diaspora in the UK and communities back home.
Donation Handed Over to Nepal’s Relief Fund
The collected funds were formally handed over to Dr Swarnim Wagle, Acting Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Nepal, representing the collective contribution of everyone who supported the campaign.
